The office as a first impression.

A considered backdrop for welcoming clients, working and meeting.

Executive office back panels

An office backdrop is seen in person and on screen. It can convey care and identity without filling the room with branding. Begin by deciding which view matters most: arrival at reception, the view towards a desk or the background of a video call. That choice gives the composition a clear purpose.

01

Frame the important view

Place the main pattern where it supports the desk or reception counter. Check the height of chairs and monitors so they do not leave an awkward sliver of decoration visible. For video calls, test the camera position early. A smaller, well-placed composition can make a stronger impression than covering every available wall.

02

Give branding its own space

If a company name or logo is part of the wall, set aside a calm area for it. Busy cutwork directly behind fine lettering can make the identity difficult to read. Let the patterned surround add texture while the sign remains clear. Share the original logo artwork and proposed viewing distance when discussing this arrangement.

03

Join the practical and decorative layers

Storage, cable routes and accessible outlets should be planned with the feature wall. A related panel can appear in a cabinet insert or a meeting-zone screen to connect the office. Decorative cutwork does not establish acoustic performance or confidential separation, so discuss those needs independently if the room also requires sound control or privacy.

Reception and executive spaces can share a finish while using different panel proportions.

THE MATERIAL DIRECTION

Choose the surface.

Timber and wooden-board finishes can bring warmth to a workplace; painted and metallic-finish details can provide contrast. Confirm cleaning, access and the underlying construction before specifying the finish.

THE LIGHTING DIRECTION

Shape the atmosphere.

Use the actual desk and camera position to judge reflections. A softly lit backing may be more comfortable in the field of view than a bright exposed light source.

BRING YOUR IDEA INTO FOCUS

Your starting checklist.

  • Share reception and desk layouts.
  • Identify the key visitor or video-call viewpoint.
